My Approach to Yoga

I first discovered yoga through alignment-focused styles like Iyengar and Ashtanga, where precision and discipline were the foundation of my practice. But after sustaining injuries and dealing with chronic pain, I realized that strict adherence to traditional alignment cues didn’t work for every body—especially mine.

This led me to explore a more functional, adaptable approach to movement, integrating biomechanics, somatic awareness, and strength-based mobility practices into yoga. Now, I teach yoga that is sustainable, pain-free, and built to support your long-term health.

In-home private yoga sessions within the Houston area are available with an additional travel fee, depending on distance and time.
